Commando 999 is a community comprised of the whole Royal Marines Family.
We raise money, spin dits, rekindle old friendships and reconnect ourselves back to our Corps and the values that we all share.
We are a community-based fundraising organisation which promotes trust and friendship through our espirit de corps.
Our membership also includes business associates, friends and family who identify with our ethos. A large part of our membership comes from the emergency services.
Democratically run, we empower each other to deliver new fundraising initiatives and ideas. We also advocate the Commando ethos as a force for good, sharing this with the public through our training and leadership programmes.
Commando999 identifies problems within the Royal Marines community and provides help at the greatest point of need. We work closely with other Royal Marines charities and come together in specific situations where the best solution can be effected through multiple parties.
Established in 2012, Commando999 raised in excess of £500,000 to support Royal Marines and their families in two years.
In 2014, Commando999 achieved independent charitable status, and today we continue our work with many new plans and exciting ideas for the future.
